Thomas Tantrum

It’s either quirky and jagged Indie-pop music or Electric Folk with an abrasive edge that rubs you inside as the band go through you. Leader of the pack Megan Thomas adds an additional few dimensions to the band based in Southamption on the South Coast of England. She helps the 2 guitars swapping notes at the back find their voice and let the rest of the class here it. Her mesmeric Cat-Power-in-her-grunge-years style works becase the band can really accomodate it and complement it with guitar music that transcend twangy and the search for that killer riff. I think they don’t need it because the power and character rests with the afformentioned lead singer - the rest of the band hold her afloat and make her release it all.

The transvestite, playing the female character, sings “Baby, don’t believe I wear two left shoes,†and winks at you. You blush. The cyclops plays the male character, but since his voice is cyclops-deep and he doesn’t speak any English, it’s pretty much impossible to understand him.

It’s Tom Chaplin on Keane vocals.
I know! Razorlight AND Keane? Fate worse than death. And that “super” group Tom has formed in rehab-actually that’s even worse
