My favourite albums of September were:

UK to get satellite radio by 2010 “We’ll have a mix of a wide variety of music genres,” says Torsten Freymark, chairman of Ondas Media. Jazz, classical, oldies rock, house, country - whatever people’s listening habits are, we’ll do it.” [Link]. Many high profile music bloggers have shows on U.S “leftfield” satellite radio.
The Edge and Bono wish they had written Oasis songs. [Link]

Did you notice that you’re the 12th best UK music blog on the DMA awards page? :)
Hey, yeh thanks Duncan I had noticed, 12 is a fairly respectable position - I watched some of the awards ceremony backstage nonsense. It was utter shite.
Good shout about Fionn Regan. I like “Penny in a Slot” too, I’ve not heard the album version but having seen him live a couple of times, it’s his strongest song onstage. Have seen his drummer as well? The guy is itching to get involved and the extra energy he gives makes Fionn’s songs stick out as being a bit special.
Top blog, feller!
Not sure what the big deal is about satellite radio. Doesn’t sutprise me it’s being pushed by a couple of megacorps - wonder what their agenda is? Sat radio is big in the US because they don’t have DAB. I think it would be more impressive if something was made available to LOWER profile music bloggers. My guess is that it won’t happen or no no-one will notice if it does. A lot can happen in three years.
congrats on your 12th best position, and great to see Los Campesinos doing so well having been picked up by you. cant wait to hear their new stuff when they are finished recording.jk
