MP3:Silence at Sea - Dead Cowboy Town

A sweet and simple folk song perfect for a monday morning that begins with you walking out the door and heading for the lake, river or sea near your home and sitting until it’s time for the inevitable. When you reach the water you wish you’d had breakfast. You take off your 10 Gallon hat and realise that there are one too many cowboys in this town. Jumping in the water seemed like a good idea. You realise it’s only 2 foot deep 2 seconds 2 late. You get angry and leave town, leaving your spurs. Er Yeh. That’ll do. Folk music for monday. Friends of Los Campesinos who co-incidentally will be playing a radio 1 session soon; possibly on Huw Stephens show tomorrow.
